Number 1 was the first suggestion without flowers (still on our test site)

Number 2 is with the flowers as per her request on her final site domain.

I find it quite interesting to see how much all this does come down to personal taste. I just find that it is a bit scary that people (all of who I know here) either like the final one or dislike it, there are 2 very distinct camps and I am not surprised. Just hope those viewing it out there in the big wide world, view it objectively - I sometimes find that the safest option is the best way to go (but that is the non-committal and very critical me talking).

Edit: FYI this is the original template that I used (http://88.198.60.17/images/notepad-w...heme/chaos.jpg - click to zoom in) and amended/adapted quite a bit - I really liked the notepad and the handwritten element to it, but wasn't keen on the original background... very personal taste-related too I guess.

i clearly didn't do my homework properly. didn't scroll down, so didn't see the flowers at the bottom of number 1. Don't think they work well. they look sad.
