I spent the evening and afternoon 'helping' daughter make a model of a Greek ship - man, they have plenty of oars on those things. My fingers are raw from the glue and my daughter is attached to the ceiling... I don't think the enclosed space and fumes helped much.

Ship looks impressive though, if I say so myself ;0) I love model-making.

Bwahahahahahahahaha. Just been discussing this with Karl actually. For college assignments I was neurotic with attention to detail, this was very much a hash job and hope it kinda looks like a 10 year old did it...
Soooooo, how clever is my 10 year old and do you think she will get top marks? ;0) (ignore the blocks holding up the oars in the attached quickie photos, still drying)

PS: Please also ignore the dog's head, the vacuum cleaner, the discarded socks etc in the background too

don't know what marks DAUGHTER will get. mother should do rather badly as it looks very childish for an adult.

Well done to the both of you - very few parents now a days actually take the time (I am not refering to mum's of this site) to sit down with their children and actaully get involved in their childs homework - and there is an easy answer why not - they themserlves do not know how - one has to take into consideration the time taken etc etc and the amount of work put into the project for a mark to be given - for a ten year old I would say 9 out of 10 (90%) - very few teachers actually give full marks.
