And this was the finished product. Pretty cool stuff, huh!

Checked out his website and it looks like he's been doing this stuff since the '80's.

    Wow!!!

I was looking at the unfinished ones and thinking that they are beautiful without the need for paint as it would ruin them - and then I saw the painted ones.

Not sure I like the black painted ones, but the brown ones look very natural, especially the birds.

    Incredible talent.

That's pretty impressive - even more so to me beacuse I used a chainsaw for the first time this weekend to cut of some railway sleepers for the garden - I don't know how they do such intricate work with such a "chunky" tool.

    Nice.

Looks good. Saw someone do this at a demonstration it's really unbelievable how they handle the chainsaws.

I envy people that can create something from a medium as natural as wood so efforless . And with such an unlikely tool .
Edmonsta I understand railway sleepers are really tough to cut . I'm sure the wood he uses is alot softer . Having said that it by no means discount the talent that this guy has . It is increadiable .

Natz I also thought the unpainted ones looked stunning on their own . But the painted ones look excetional . Although not to sure about the black ones .

Sigh..............I wish I could hire him for some work . But I need mega cash for a property big enough to house the art
